Rain Continues Before Finally Drying Out Midweek

Good Saturday morning, everyone! I hope you all have been staying dry. We can’t seem to shake the wet weather, but there is hope that we could dry out later this week. Keep those umbrellas handy for just a few more days!

Flooding Possible Today through Sunday

As round after round of showers and thunderstorms pass through our area, we run the risk of seeing some high rainfall amounts and localized flooding. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Sunday night as the rain continues, so please watch for flooded roadways and turn around, don’t drown. You could lose control of your car in just 6″ of water!

We see a break in the precipitation this morning before scattered showers and thunderstorms redevelop in the early afternoon. Temperatures today will sit in the mid-70’s, and lows tonight will hang out around 70 degrees.

More scattered showers are in store for Sunday as temperatures warm to near 80 degrees in some places. Just make sure to watch for flooding in low-lying areas.

Approaching Cold Front Dries Us Out

We start to see changes on Monday as a cold front approaches from our west. Scattered showers are possible throughout the day Monday ahead of the cold front, though. Temperatures will cool to the upper 60’s – low 70’s during the day, and will drop all the way to the 50’s Monday night!

The cold front will pass through overnight Monday bringing dry weather on Tuesday. Finally! Temperatures will stay cooler as well in the mid-70’s as we head into the middle of the week.

That finishes today’s forecast. Thanks for stopping by! Follow our live weather feed @wxornotbg, as well as on Facebook, for all your weather updates. See you tomorrow!
