Good morning and Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great Easter weekend. Today will be in the seventies and sunny then rain returns by midweek.
Currently…
Temperatures are in the low-50s and winds are coming out of the south at around 2 mph.
Warm & Sunny Today
We are starting off the week right with temperatures rising into the high-70s and possibly low-80s. Today will be quite comfortable; dew points will be in the low-50s, which will keep the air nice and dry. As the sun goes down, the temperatures will fall into the low-60s.
Nice Start to Tuesday, then Rain
Tuesday day will start windy, with gusts of 22 mph expected. The cold front will come through and the winds will shift. As the winds shift to a north direction, rain chances increase. Furthermore, rain and thunderstorms are expected tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures will increase into the high-70s then decrease into the mid-50s.
Showers & Seventies for the Rest of the Week
The showers will continue for the rest of the work week, however, the high temperatures will remain in the 70s throughout this time, as well. The low temperatures will range in the low- to mid-50s. The rain is expected to stop in the morning of Friday.
Clearing Up by the Weekend
The forecast is calling for sunny and 75 all weekend long. Be ready for a nice couple of days after all the rain. The temperatures will decrease into the mid-50s. Slight rain chances will return Sunday afternoon.
That is all I have for today. A beautiful start to the week, then showers to end it. You all have a great day and make sure to check back here tomorrow for another weather update. Also, follow @wxornotBG on Twitter for live updates.
