Sunshine on Saturday Before Sunday Showers

A brilliant but breezy Friday should be repeated as we tip off the weekend, sans the windy conditions. Enjoy while you can because things will be changing to finish the weekend. We’ve got sunshine on Saturday before Sunday showers.

A Mild and Sunny Saturday

If you thought yesterday was nice, boy do I have a treat for you.

Yesterday’s post-frontal winds will no longer be with us as high pressure dominates the region.

This means temperatures that once again top out at about 62º with light winds and plentiful sunshine. The perfect early Spring day.

Things begin to change overnight. Cloud cover will increase, a sign that our next weathermaker is poised to move into the area. The increase in clouds will mean that lows tonight will bottom out milder than previous nights, around 40º.

Showers Build In Sunday, Last Into Monday

As we look to finish the weekend, it won’t be a bad day to stay in and finish watching the Round of 32 since showers will return to the region.

A weather system not too different than the one that impacted us in the middle of this week will scoot toward us and try to fire off some showers for Sunday and lasting into Monday as well.

There will be a surge of slightly warmer air moving in ahead of the showers so, despite cloud cover and rain, temperatures both Sunday and Monday will reach around 65º. Lows Sunday night fall to 50º as clouds stick around but showers begin their exit Monday night, when we’ll fall to 35º.

Another Quiet Start to the Week

Next week appears to start quiet but a bit chilly, not unlike the week we just completed.

Tuesday will be chilliest, with highs just above 50º, we’ll gradually warm throughout the week, closer to 60º on Wednesday, 65º Thursday and knocking on the door to 70º by Friday. But the week’s sunny skies will give way to cloudier conditions ahead of another storm system next weekend.
