Happy Second Day of Spring everyone! Say hello to 50’s for highs and sunny skies as quiet but cool conditions will persist until Sunday.
High Pressure Brings Sunny But Cool Weather Today
Any lingering early morning rain showers will clear out by about 9 am providing us mostly sunny skies for the rest of the day.
Grabbing a jacket as you head out this morning looks to be a good move as our temperatures will only top out in the mid-50’s under breezy conditions.
More of the same cool, dry conditions will continue for tomorrow and Saturday as high pressure sits over our area. Highs remain in the mid-50’s, lows remain in the 30’s, and NCAA basketball will be on TV from noon to midnight.
The only weather nuisance worth mentioning is that some frost and/or fog may form early Saturday morning lowering visibility if you have to get out.
Warmer But Wetter Sunday and Monday
60’s return for highs on Sunday and Monday, but some light rain showers will be possible Sunday afternoon into Monday as a low pressure system moves through.
Behind this, high pressure and cooler temperatures return for Tuesday continuing the typical spring temperature rollercoaster.
That’s all I have for today. Enjoy this week’s nice weather and follow @wxornotBG for the latest updates.
