Flurries For Christmas Day

Outside of flying flurries and/or light rain showers this morning, this Christmas Day should be quiet and pleasant.

Filtered sunshine this afternoon will join high temperatures near 50˚. We’ll still keep clouds around Wednesday, however, it’ll be much warmer, with highs in the mid 50s.

Our attention is on Thursday, when a powerful low pressure system will cut a path from the Central Plains northeast toward the Great Lakes.

This system will bring an associated cold front through the area, that will result in widespread shower & storm chances Thursday through the predawn hours of Friday.

Southerly winds will make conditions very warm, with highs hitting the low to mid 60s.

Following this weather maker, temperatures will crash, with chances for light snow following late this weekend.

A full, detailed breakdown can be found in this morning’s weather video:

Thank you all so much for your support! Have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
