Rain Returns By Thursday

Good morning, Kentucky! We’ve woken up to a brisk morning with temperatures around 33°. If you’re headed out, make sure to bundle up in several layers. Our conditions will be dry for the next two days but rain returns by Thursday. I’ve got all the details below!

Dry But Chilly

Fairly nice conditions can be expected today with highs reaching into the low-50s once again. A high pressure system located to our Northeast will bring us dry conditions today and tomorrow. Winds will be light out of the Northeast and temperatures will drop into the low-30s again tonight.

Slightly Warmer Wednesday

Tomorrow will be even nicer than today because temperatures will be a little warmer. The high temperature will reach into the upper-50s and could possibly reach the 60° mark. Once again, no rain is expected thanks to that high pressure system still impacting our area. Winds will be light out of the south. Cloud cover and precipitation chances will increase throughout the day and into the overnight hours.

Rain Returns By Thursday

Thursday will be a different story from today and Wednesday. Temperatures will still reach into the mid-50s but rain can be expected throughout the whole day. A low pressure system will approach our area and bring plenty of rain chances with it. This system will pick up a lot of its moisture while going over the Gulf of Mexico and then head Northeast. The models are identifying snow as a precipitation type but the low temperature for Thursday will only reach into the low-40s. If you are headed out on Thursday, definitely wear your rain gear.
