Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Celebrating the holiday with family and friends will be complemented by some awesome Thanksgiving weather followed by weekend rain chances.
High Pressure Gives Us Warm, Clear Weather Today
After starting in the low 30’s this morning, we will warm up into the upper 50’s this afternoon with clear skies all thanks to a dome of high pressure over us. This is really awesome weather for that backyard football game or a stroll after the Thanksgiving feast.
If you are heading out for the Black Friday deals this evening, bring a coat as temperatures will start the evening in the mid 40’s, but fall to the mid 30’s by the early morning doorbusters.
Next System Delivers Rain Chances Late Tomorrow
A low pressure system will provide us a breezy conditions and a chance of rain showers starting in the late afternoon which will continue into early Saturday morning, so remember the rain gear for any Friday night plans.
Highs will once again reach the mid 50’s tomorrow afternoon and stay in the 40’s overnight, so winter weather is not a concern with this system.
Warm Weekend Before Chilly Next Week
While you munch on left overs, highs in the low 60’s for Saturday and Sunday may help you get outside to burn off the extra calories. You had better enjoy the warmth since a cold front overnight on Sunday will bring us another round of rain before leaving us much colder for next week.
A brief transition to wintry precipitation is possible overnight Sunday, so check back in for more updates as the system approaches.
