Good Sunday morning, folks! I hope everyone has had an awesome weekend thus far. After a chilly start, beautiful weather settles in for the next few days.
First Frosty Morning This Year
A powerful cold front pushed through last night, and helped to push in quite the chilly, autumn air mass! We are as cold and dry as we have been all season to this point.
Frost conditions should be widespread this morning, so I hope you covered sensitive plants up!
Outside of this, there won’t be any significant weather threats today. Temperatures will gradually rise as the sun make its appearance, with highs in the mid 50s (54ºF-55ºF).
Beautiful Weather to Come
The beginning of your work week looks absolutely beautiful, and I am excited about it.
Monday morning will start off chilly and frosty again, so be sure to bundle the kids up as you send them to the bus stop or school! Temps will be in the lower 30s.
By the afternoon, though, the surface high that is keeping us chilly right now will have moved off to our southeast, and southerly winds will return! This should help kick our temps into the mid 60s (63ºF-64ºF)!
Tuesday will be similar as well, with highs rising into the mid 60s ahead of a weak cold front progressing through the region.
Both Monday and Tuesday will feature occasional high clouds, and maybe some thicker clouds with the frontal passage on Tuesday, but don’t expect too much over the coming days in that regard.
Clouds Increase to end the Week
The latter half of the week will feature a briefish cool down behind the front on Tuesday, with highs back in the mid to upper 50s from Wednesday and Thursday.
However, during all of this, expect cloud cover to be on the increase. We’ll be in between two systems – one to our north and one to our south – and we’ll be stuck with some thick cloud cover.
Friday and Saturday look to be relatively warm, but rain chances look like they’ll increase by Saturday.
Well, that is all I have for you folks! Be sure to follow @wxornotBG on Twitter for the latest on the forecast. Have a fantastic Sunday!
