Storms Possible Today, Heat Continues

Rain Showers This Morning

Look for some wet pavement on your drive this morning as some showers pushed through our region earlier this morning.  With more chances of rain in the late afternoon and evening and highs in the upper 80’s, there are storms possible today, heat continues.

With the warm temperatures and increased moisture more thunderstorms could form late this afternoon into this evening as they did last night.  However, with little wind shear there will be no chance of severe.

Rain or not, it will be hot today with temperatures reaching the upper 80’s with light winds and partly cloudy skies.  Tonight will drop to the upper 60’s with a chance of scattered rain showers.

Heat Continues

Tomorrow’s highs will once again be in the upper 80’s with light winds and abundant sunshine.  This spring heat wave is due to our region going under a ridge of high pressure and the jet stream moving to our north–a very summery pattern bringing us summery temperatures.

Hot Again Saturday with Slight Chance of Rain

Once again, the highs on Saturday will climb to the upper 80’s with light winds and broken sunshine.  It would be a nice day for a swim if anyone had their pool open.

Saturday afternoon into the early evening could feature some very isolated thunderstorms, but still no severe.  The low on Saturday night will be in the mid 60’s, and Sunday looks to be hot and dry as well so enjoy the quick onset of summer after a long, cold winter and spring.
