Snow showers should generally dissipate across the region after 9 AM. Though a couple stray snow showers can’t be ruled out throughout the day. A Winter Weather Advisory continues until 1 PM across the area.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all counties except Logan county.

Outside of snow, cold today; chilly end week will be the theme. A tight pressure gradient will exist thanks to the departing low pressure system and high pressure to the west. This will lead to gusty northwest winds along with highs in the low 40s.  We’ll be stuck under mostly cloudy skies for most of the day.

Rain Chances Increase Friday

More widespread rain may develop on Friday afternoon as a system moves out of the northern Plains. Outside of increasing rain chances, we’ll be stuck under mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low 50s. Rain chances increase during the evening and overnight thanks to increasing divergence aloft. Lows drop back into the mid 40s.
