Bleh Start to the Workweek
Well folks, we are staring at a nice, rainy, dreary day out there. Rain is currently approaching the region from the west, and should be here between 8 am and 10 am.
The rainfall is forecast to quickly move east-northeastward early this afternoon, allowing for some clouds to potentially clear out. With some sunshine and southerly flow, we should see temperatures rise into the lower 60s again!
There is a chance that we may see a thin line of storms develop along the cold front as it moves through our region. With sunshine developing and strong low level winds, we could potentially see an isolated strong wind gust or two.
Much Cooler Through Midweek
After the cold front pushes through the region, temperatures will fall back into the mid 30s for Tuesday, and not rise much at all. The high for Tuesday will likely be hit at midnight because temps will fall and stay cool all day.
Additionally, clouds and isolated rain/snow showers should be bothersome throughout the day as a stiff westerly breeze pushes into the region behind the cold front.
Winds could be gusting in the 20 mph range at times tomorrow, making it feel even worse than it is. Clouds will also blanket the region.
Wednesday will be pretty similar, though, without the blanket of clouds. I expect those to be there in the morning and push out by Wednesday afternoon.
Highs on Wednesday look to moderate some, getting into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Well, that is all I have folks! Thanks for checking in this morning. Be sure to check out our live twitter feed at @wxornotBG and Landon Hampton on Facebook for the latest Bowling Green weather information. Have a great Monday!
