Monotonous, but Nice, Weather Continues

The Headline

The headline hasn’t changed all that much from yesterday, actually. Not much has really changed from yesterday to be real honest. The biggest thing that has changed is that it is now October!

I am amazed at the consistency of the models forecasting nothing in the way of precipitation, or even significant cloud cover, over the next several days. It is amazing.

After a chilly start in the upper 40s this morning, temps should bounce back quickly this afternoon into the upper 70s for highs. Expect to see some partly cloudy skies as some clouds stream in towards the region from the west.

A strong ridge will begin to take over and warm things up starting tomorrow and Tuesday. Though the ridge is looking fairly strong, the models have been backing off its longevity across the region.

The models have consistently shown this ridge beginning to break down by next weekend, so hopefully it won’t last too long like the last one did.

Highs for tomorrow and Tuesday should be in the lower 80s under partly cloudy skies. Nothing too crazy, but a noticeable warm up.
