Good morning! I hope everyone is having a lovely start to this beautiful weekend. Spoiler Alert: this whole weekend is going to be absolutely gorgeous! So, if I promise to keep this post relatively short, will you promise me that you’ll try to get outside and enjoy this weather??

Upper-level ridging and surface high pressure will be the dominating factor for our area over the weekend. This will keep us warm and dry over the next few days. With southerly flow at the surface, we’ll see our temperatures increase quite a bit compared to the last few days. Highs for today will be in the upper 60’s, near 70 degrees.

For Sunday, stronger southerly flow will increase temperatures even more, with highs in the mid to upper 70’s. As our upper-level ridge and surface high pressure slide off to the east, a low pressure system will approach the region. We should stay dry on Monday, but we can’t get so lucky for Tuesday.
