Look, I could talk about just how nice yesterday was forever. I could write a book about it! Yesterday was one of those days that you could go outside at dawn and stay out until sunset. I tried to do that to the best of my ability. I came home (central KY) for the weekend, and traveled around the region going to a couple of my favorite fishing spots. Temps reaching the upper 60s made that journey much more fun!

🚨 SPRING FEVER ALERT 🚨

I have a really bad case of Spring Fever right now, and this weather certainly isn’t helping anything. I spent yesterday on local streams, and I had to force myself to leave. I mean, golly it has been nice out lately!

The weather continues to look Spring-like over the next few days, only promising to make things worse. Today, even with the showers, looks Spring-like! We have a disturbance moving through the atmosphere, weakening as it moves eastward. However, it is the primary forcing for the precip this morning.

It will feel pretty dag on good, even during the precip, though. Highs look to hit the low 60s, making these showers much like your typical Spring Showers.

Tomorrow and Monday will be excellent in our string of Spring in February. Tomorrow definitely doesn’t look as nice as Monday, but with respect to the 40s for highs it is! The models are indicating clouds hanging tough around the region until midday tomorrow, but I have my doubts. Nevertheless, I’ve gone with temperatures lower than what I would have otherwise, with highs getting into the mid 60s.

I have no words for how nice Monday looks, though. Monday looks like the single nicest day all winter, and that is saying something looking at the past week.

We look to get fairly strong southerly to southeasterly flow across the region, knocking temps up into the low 70s. Partly sunny skies look to be present too, creating an amazing day to be outside.

I really wish I would be able to hang outside most of Monday, but alas, classes.
