Christmas Eve’s Bowling Green Weather

Real-Time Bowling Green Weather Radar

Yesterday’s Weather

Yesterday was actually pretty nice while the sun was up. It may have been cloudy for a lot of it, granted, but it didn’t seem gloomy or anything. Temps were held down a bit by the clouds, but rose into the mid 50s anyways. Rainfall moved into the area after dark, but wasn’t too big of a deal.

The rain that was falling when you went to bed last night has moved on our of the region, leaving not-so-terrible temperatures across the region. Clouds will be our biggest adversary today, as they’ll likely hang thick through this evening and overnight.

By tomorrow, the clouds will likely still be hanging around. A warm front looks like it will move through during the late morning and early afternoon hours, ushering in a partly cloudy and warm airmass.

Highs will be approaching the record high of 70°F tomorrow, and if we get enough sunshine, we may break that record. Wouldn’t that be something!

By Monday, a shortwave trough will be approaching the region with an associated cold front at the surface. This will orient our winds from the southwest, warming temperatures into the 70s, even under clouds. Precip should move in on Monday night, officially closing out the Christmas weekend for many.
