In addition to the wild weather that we saw yesterday, there was some severe weather over South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa.
The same shortwave that will propagate towards us tomorrow and influence us today was yesterday forcing some severe storms across that region of the world. There were some supercells, damaging winds and even a few tornadoes across the region. The day wasn’t overly crazy in terms of severe weather, but it was a productive day across that region. Check out some of the images!

I don’t foresee an event like that here today, but we may see some damaging winds and flooding across our region similar to what they saw yesterday.
