This ridge is making our weather absolutely awesome.

For the end of May, this is about as nice as it gets honestly, especially underneath a ridge. It isn’t too hot, dewpoints aren’t too high, and this creates a fairly nice gateway into meteorological summer. Today will be very similar to the two days prior to it. Highs will end up in the upper 80s, under partly sunny skies. We may even break the 90 degree threshold!

Overnight, mostly clear skies will remain, with lows falling into the mid 60s.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy, with increasing clouds toward evening. Highs around 90°F. Wed. night: Partly to mostly cloudy, with isolated showers possible late. Lows falling to around 68°F.

I guess you could say it is actually summer. Astronomically, it isn’t summer until later in June. However, meteorologically (I am biased; I follow this route), summer begins on Wednesday! So get hype!

It is about the only thing to get hype about weatherwise, because today’s forecast is exactly like the previous few days. Its gonna be hot. It is gonna be fairly sunny, with an isolated storm being possible. Highs should break 90 degrees today, though!

Hit the pool, hit the AC, hit the shade underneath a tree. Whatever you have to do to avoid being in the heat for too long, try to do. Even at 90 degrees, you need to be wary of your fluid intake while doing outdoor activities! Keep this in mind now, and during any episode of warmer temps.

Overnight, look for clouds to increase with lows falling into the upper 60s.

Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy, with scattered showers/storms. Highs around 85°F. Thur. night: Mostly cloudy, with the shower/storm chances remaining. Lows around 65°F.

Thursday looks to actually be different for a change. Finally.

It is honestly about time. Saturday of last week was the last day that was really different before that. Then it was Thursday of last week, and that was the last day we had really nice storms. Today looks to have a chance of storms across the region as a weak cold front approaches the region.

I don’t think showers/storms will be too widespread across the region, so don’t expect a washout or anything. Highs should end up in the mid 80s under mostly cloudy skies.

Overnight, look for the shower/storms chances to continue, with lows ending up in the mid 60s.
