Memorial Day – Mostly Sunny – High 87 / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 63
Great Memorial Day Bowling Green! High pressure has settled in across the region, making for some great Memorial Day weather. Conditions should remain mostly sunny throughout the day today. Highs underneath the dome of high pressure will approach 90 degrees, but should top out just shy of that. Definitely a great day for a barbecue in remembrance of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Tonight will bring some partly cloudy skies to the region from the west. Lows will be around 63.
Tuesday 5/31 – Partly Cloudy – High 88 / Tues Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 65
High pressure will begin to move out of the region on Tuesday. This will lead to the development of weak southwest flow across the region. Partly cloudy skies should continue into Tuesday. Highs will get close to 90 degrees once again, but I feel confident that we won’t quite reach 90. Pool weather anyone?
Partly cloudy skies will continue overnight with a low around 65.
Wednesday 6/1 – Increasing Showers – High 86 / Wed Night – Showers Likely – Low 67
By Wednesday, a trough well to the north of the region will have spawned a low pressure system well to the north. The trailing cold front will approach the region on Monday. This will lead to the chance of showers increasing throughout the day. Fortunately, ongoing showers may limit instability, leading to less of a chance of severe weather. A few rumbles of thunder can’t be ruled out.
This won’t phase high temperatures though, as highs will still be in the mid 80s across the region!
Wednesday night will continue to bring the chance of showers and a few rumbles of thunder. Lows will be around 67.
