A large structure fire in Draffenville, KY created a large, dark smoke plume. This smoke plume was detected by the radar at the National Weather Service in Paducah, KY.

According to West Kentucky Star, a portion of US 641 in Marshall County is currently blocked due to a structure fire. Several area fire departments have responded to the structure fire. Due to equipment and emergency response personnel along the roadway, motorists traveling US 641 are being detoured a couple of miles via KY 58 and US 68.
