Today, there are tornado watches and warnings in association with a strong mid and upper level system moving into the central part of the country today.
However, in association with the same system was a tornado yesterday. In California. Tornadoes are already rare in California, as they only average 4 tornadoes a year in the state. This tornado actually caused a pretty decent amount of damage across the town of Denair, CA, and was rated an EF-1 tornado, with winds of 111 mph.
