According to the models, cyclone Megh is expected to intensify into the weekend, but not become as strong as cyclone Chapala. Megh has become a more organized storm, however, the intensification of the storm looks to be much slower due to decreased wind being pulled toward the center of the stormĀ and weak convection.

Heavy rains, flash flooding, and damaging winds are some of the main concerns with Megh. At this point, the intensity of Megh and the path this storm takes is very uncertain, so stay tuned for more information on this developing cyclone. Let’s hope Yemen doesn’t get hit again!
