Summer-like temperatures remain across the region this weekend, but will be accompanied by scattered showers and storms every day. While no day will be a washout, keep an umbrella handy and an eye on the sky if your going to be outside for an extended period of time.

Here is a look at the simulated radar reflectivity for this afternoon. Most areas will stay dry, but several folks around the region will likely see a brief, heavy downpour. The best chances for any precipitation will be late this afternoon into early evening.

Sunday may be the hottest day of the week. We are talking temperatures close to 90 degrees! No it’s not July yet, it just feels like it.

Scattered showers are possible during the Sunday morning hours, so pack an umbrella if your heading out to church. The area should clear out rather nicely for the afternoon, but scattered showers return by late evening and overnight into Monday.

Our best chance for thunderstorms arrive Monday into Monday evening. The Storm Prediction Center has already highlighted our area with a 15% chance for severe weather.
