Warm and Sunny in Bowling Green

Today – AM Fog; Mostly Sunny – High 85° / Tonight – Mostly Clear – Low 60°

It’s hard to believe that only two short months ago, Bowling Green had 7 inches of snow on the ground and parts of the region had over 2 feet. No worries in the snow department for this week as we will see summertime temps and sunny skies.  Yea, it’s going to feel hot.

If you have any lengthy outdoor activities planned the next few days brush the dust off your sunscreen because you’re going to need it.

Thursday – Mostly Sunny – High 85° / Thurs Night – Mostly Clear – Low 60°

Thursday will be the same ole story as today. So what’s causing all this heat suddenly? The answer is the high pressure to our southeast. The clockwise flow around a high pressure system helps pump warm and moist air from the south in our direction. So if your feeling muggy, blame it on the high pressure.

Friday – Mostly Sunny – High 85° / Fri Night – Mostly Clear – Low 62°

I know I’m beginning to sound like a broken record, but more sunshine and heat is in store for Friday. No shortage of vitamin D this week. This kind of gets me in the beach mood.
