Rockfield Elementary

I had the privilege of hanging out with the 3rd grade students and teachers at Rockfield Elementary Wednesday afternoon.  We spent the day discussing winter and severe weather, focusing on severe weather safety, given storm season is just around the corner.

Aside from talking the ins and outs of the weather world, we also discussed tech gadgets and how we here at Wx Or Not utilize them in the field.  We tinkered with a few GoPro accessories, but the aerial drone stole the show…

After wrapping up the drone demonstration and an experiment on pressure, we had a little autograph session for the kiddos!

A big thanks to Mrs. Amy Noble for the invite, and a thank you to everyone at Rockfield Elementary for a great all-around visit.  Hopefully I make it back soon!
