Buffalo Blizzard Drone Footage

Unless you’ve been living under a rock this past week, you’ve more than likely heard about the extreme lake effect snow event that has dumped several FEET of snow on Buffalo, New York and surrounding areas. Several people have lost their lives during this event. The enormous weight of the snow pack has caused several structures to buckle under the pressure, as well as trap many people in their vehicles.

James Grimaldi of West Seneca, New York, has put together a great collection of Buffalo blizzard drone footage the past few days, sharing a bird’s eye of the scenes that have been unfolding. The footage is nothing short of breath-taking. See for yourself…

This final video captured by Grimaldi is my favorite. It’s a time lapse of the snow taking place. This really helps put into perspective just how intense the snowfall has been.
