Cooler Weather With a Hint of Snow

Real-Time Bowling Green Weather Radar:

Today – Scattered Showers, High 52º / Tonight – Scattered Rain and Snow Showers – Low 32º

6am 42º – 9am 47º – 12pm 50º – 3pm 52º – 6pm 48º

A few areas saw light showers overnight. Today will be filled with scattered showers, cloudy skies, and rather cool temperatures. Things get interesting tonight as temperature drop near freezing. Any precipitation left during the overnight hours will most likely fall as light snow.

Here is a look at what the NAM is thinking as far  as temperatures and location of the precipitation by 1am tomorrow morning. It keeps the precip just to our east, but temperature by midnight will be cold enough for snow.

Saturday – Mostly Sunny, Cold– High 48º / Sat Night – Clear, Frost – Low 26º

Any snow that falls (if any) early Saturday most likely won’t accumulate. Bowling Green may see nothing more than a flurry, however areas farther to the east could get a dusting or more. Ground temperatures are still rather warm as well. Here is what the Weather Prediction Center is thinking as far as probabilities of 1 inch of snow or more.

Saturday night will get quite cold! There is a very good chance of frost in areas as temperatures will dip into the mid 20’s.

Sunday – Mostly Sunny, Cool – High 54º / Sun Night – Partly Cloudy, Cold Low 34º

By Sunday, temperatures will start to get a little warmer, and with the sun shining things will be much more bearable. Get out and enjoy the day…these guys will.
