NWS Rainfall Maps

Check out these rainfall maps from NWS Lousville showing one-day and three-day rainfall totals in our area. Check out the three-day totals map which shows a broad area of rainfall totals around 2-3″ as of 7 A.M. CST.

As of 8:00 P.M. CST, we have seen an additional 0.41″ of precipitation at the Bowling Green Airport. This brings our monthly rainfall total for October to 4.95″ which is already 3.43″ above normal. Remember when we were in a drought not too long ago?

A much drier pattern is expected to set in beginning tomorrow and lasting through the weekend. What can we expect after that? The Climate Prediction Center seems to think we will stay dry in their 8-14 day precipitation outlook:
