Today is officially the wettest day on record for Phoenix, Arizona, with 3.29 inches of rainfall collected as of 10:57 AM MST. Moisture from Post-Tropical Cyclone Norbert caused widespread flooding in Phoenix, as the city experienced the rainiest day since weather records began in 1895. Many schools are closed and thousands of residents are without power.
