Any lingering showers or storms should diminish after dark. What’s important to keep in mind if any storms develop is the threat of flash flooding and lightning, as we’ve seen throughout Kentucky for a few days now. Overnight lows should fall into the mid 70s.

Sunday 8/24 – Isolated T’Storms  – High 92° // Sunday Night – Isolated T’Storms – Low 73°

The stationary front located to our northeast looks to creep southwest into our area on Sunday which will allow for the threat of isolated showers and thunderstorms once again. Temperatures should be down a tick, but still warm, as well into the low 90s. Keep an eye on the radar if you’re doing anything outside.

Sunday night should cool into the low 70s with showers and storms decreasing in coverage. Patchy fog is possible in some areas.

Monday 8/25 – Isolated T’Storms  – High 91° // Monday Night – Isolated T’Storms – Low 73°

The start of the work week will be very similar in terms of the weather. Its looking like another warm day with isolated showers in the area and temperatures into the low 90s. This ridge is holding and keeping the weather a bit stagnant at the moment.

Should be pretty calm Monday night, and any night over the forecast period as long as showers ad storms aren’t pestering us. Expect lows into the mid 70s and another round of warm weather on Tuesday.
