Strong storms entered the region from the north. The storms that impacted Bowling Green originated in the St. Louis, MO area. Landon and I were able to get some pretty good pictures of the storms. Be sure to check them out. Severe weather also appears possible on Tuesday.
The latest update from the Storm Prediction Center keeps south-central Kentucky in a “Slight” (think enhanced) risk of severe weather for the overnight hours. The main threat with any additional thunderstorms will be heavy rain, gusty winds, and vivid lightning.
Once again, there is also a chance of severe weather tomorrow. There is likely a better chance of severe weather tomorrow than there is today and tonight. However, a lot can change between now and then so stay tuned for the 6 AM blog post.
