One of the most powerful tropical cyclones ever recorded has its sites set on the Philippines. Super Typhoon Haiyan is continuing to intensify, and currently has sustained winds of 190mph, with gusts reaching 230mph (for reference, that’s EF5 tornado wind speeds). Many people in the Philippines have been evacuated or relocated. Keep these people in your thoughts and prayers.
