Good morning folks, get ready for excellent weather today before a weekend cold front brings a chance of storms Saturday.
70’s and Sunshine Today
Grab that jacket when heading out this morning as it will be a little chilly before our temperatures warm into the breezy low 70’s by this afternoon.
Overall, today will feature just awesome weather, so please try to get outside to enjoy it if you can stand the pollen, which is very high today.
Warm But Showery Tomorrow
Our streak of dry weather will come to an end tomorrow as rain showers will be possible throughout the day.
Bright side, temperatures will reach the upper 60’s for afternoon highs, and we will likely have a break in the rain for Friday night.
Thunderstorms Possible Saturday
A cold front looks to progress through our region just in time for the weekend. Rain showers will be possible throughout the day Saturday with the afternoon featuring a low chance for severe storms.
Currently, the greatest threat with these storms looks to be frequent lightning, heavy rain, and strong winds, so consider planning some indoor activities for your Saturday.
Accompanying the storms, temperatures will crash from the low 60’s to low 40’s behind the cold front on Saturday afternoon which will feel like quite a shock.
We could even see some flurries Saturday evening on our way to a low in upper 20’s for Sunday morning.
Cool Sunday
Our last day of March will be surprisingly cold with highs only reaching the upper 40’s under dry conditions. Temperatures will slowly get warmer into the start of next week.
That’s all I have for today, so try to enjoy some time outside and follow @wxornotBG for the latest updates.
👍🏻 Awesome!
