A nice start to yesterday was marred by increasing cloud cover and shower chances as day turned to evening. Luckily, we’ll expect the reverse today as we have a decent weekend on the way.
Sun Returns Saturday
Welcome to the weekend.
And things will be breezy. We’ll be on the backside of the storm system that gave us a gentle soaking last night and that means we’ll be drying out…but also a bit on the breezy side.
We’re in between a couple of boundaries. The cold front that gave us the rain last night and another boundary that will give us a reinforcing shot of cold air. Simply put, a pretty nice day with clouds decreasing allowing us to reach a high near 65º. The trade-off will be stiff breezes on the order of 10-15 MPH.
The other trade-off will be the clear skies and that secondary boundary moving through, dragging overnight lows to around 33-34º. Things would get quite frosty if not for the breeze, still a-blowin’ at around 10 MPH.
Chillier Sunday
Maybe grab the heavy coats?
We’ll start the day in the mid-30s and only improve to around 50º or so for a high. Though, we have two things working for us: sunshine and calmer winds. Even then, you’ll want to keep warm if you’re headed out. We’re back in the mid-30s again for a low tomorrow night with distinct frost potential.
Monday is Much the Same
A similar day to Sunday on tap to begin the week, but with a bit more sunshine and warmth.
Temperatures look to top out closer to 60º under those sunny skies in the afternoon. A pretty nice afternoon…for a Monday. Lows on Monday night fall to around 40º. Might be chilly at times, but I’m still quite the fan of fall.
