Showers Today
Hey folks, the radar shows scattered showers off to our south which will move into our region later today while we reach highs in the upper 60’s. A moisture starved cold front will sweep through Friday to clean out the rain bringing us showers today, clear weekend on horizon.
Rainy System Keeps Hanging Around Today
Remember that system that gave us rain and clouds earlier this week? Oh yeah, it never left. Today will feature scattered showers especially in the southern part of our region becoming most numerous in the afternoon.
The showers will keep the temperatures a little below average in the upper 60’s with light winds. The good news is the rain should clear out by later this evening with lows hitting the mid-40’s.
Rain Stops, Cold Front Pushes Through Tomorrow Afternoon
Tomorrow the temperatures will jump to near 70 in the early afternoon. Skies will go from clear in the morning to cloudy maybe with some sprinkles by the late afternoon as a dry cold front blows through our region. This will finally rid us of that pesky system that has been giving us drowsy weather this week.
Lows tomorrow night will be in the mid-40’s with no chance of rain after sunset.
Clear Weekend on Horizon
Both Saturday and Sunday look great with highs in the mid-60’s, no chance of rain, and abundant sunshine due to high pressure moving behind the cold front. This will be a great time to get outside and enjoy some nice spring weather.
Late Frost Possible Saturday Night
With clear skies, light winds, and a strong high pressure system overhead we will see temperatures in the 30’s on Saturday night. This could lead to a late frost over our region which could damage unprotected plants if it gets cold enough.
