The Return of Precipitation Chances

Good morning to you! How was your weekend (or spring break, if you’re a student)? We hope wonderful! In today’s post, we will take a look at the showers that are to come, the quiet end to the week, and even what to expect for next week!

Showers to Come

(Outlook for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday)

For the start of the week, cloud cover will slowly but surely turn overbearing by Tuesday as a low pressure system propagates eastward into our region of the country. This will call for the return of precipitation chances to our forecast, with widespread showers on Tuesday turning scattered on Wednesday. In other words, enjoy the sunshine today while you can!

Our main concern will be with the chance for excessive rainfall on Tuesday, to which arises the threat for scattered flash flooding. On the way home from the workplace, drive slowly and with caution. Beware of low-lying areas, as well as small streams and washes, as these will be the most vulnerable to significant accumulation of rainfall.

Due to the disturbance, temperatures will be on the decline. High’s will reach the lower 70’s on Monday, the upper 60’s on Tuesday, and the mid-60’s on Wednesday. Low’s will bottom out around the mid-50’s Monday and Tuesday, then the lower 40’s on Wednesday.

Conditions Quiet Down

(Outlook for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

For the end of the week, we will say goodbye to the gloom as high pressure sets in. Expect an influx of sunshine, making for a beautiful end to the week. If you don’t have plans to spend time outdoors, now’s your chance to!

Projected cloud cover for Saturday (Pivotal Weather)

To say the least, temperatures will remain rather uniform. Whereas high’s will reach the upper 50’s, low’s will drop to the upper 30’s. Not too shabby, if you ask me!
