Good morning, everyone! It’s finally Friday and if you’re like me, you probably had a lack of motivation throughout the week dealing with school or work due to the fantastic weather conditions. For your weekend forecast, these pleasant conditions will stick around for the first half, but our next rainmaker grips the region beginning Saturday night.

What to Expect Today and Tomorrow
Today will essentially be much like previous days this week with temperatures topping out in the low 70s. However, we will see a bit more in the way of cloud cover with increasing clouds throughout the afternoon. They may even provide a little bit of relief from the warmth of the sun for those of you who despise when the temperature rises above 65.

Overnight, these clouds will stick around with a low temperature of 55 degrees before giving way to mostly sunny skies on Saturday. The mercury will make a run for 80 degrees Saturday! What a teaser for summer. If you have outdoor plans on Saturday, make sure to apply sunscreen.
As the evening hours roll in, expect the clouds to increase and expect breezy conditions to set in. Into the overnight, showers and possible thunderstorms will arrive out ahead of the next low-pressure system. The low overnight will be around 62 degrees.
Sunday and Monday
Sunday will unfortunately be wet for your church services and grocery runs. Lines of light showers will roll through the area in the AM before thunderstorms present themselves as a possibility in the afternoon. Temperatures top out in the low 70s.

Monday will be yet another wet, dreary day. The chance for the heaviest precipitation falls on Monday in which brings about a flooding risk. When it’s all said and done, expect about 1-2 inches of rain across the region for the event.
That’s all for today! Thanks for reading and be sure to follow us on Twitter/ Instagram/Facebook for all your live weather updates. Have a great weekend.
