Quiet Conditions to End Weekend

Good Sunday Morning Folks! I hope you have all had a great weekend so far and have enjoyed some time outside. This will be another short blog post since more quiet conditions are expected into the near future.

Today

Keeping it simple, today will yet again be hot, sunny, and very quiet in terms of weather. Highs today will remain in the upper 80s again, and a few 90 highs are certainly on the table for today.

I would not expect any relief from the heat in terms of winds, as they should remain very calm.

I would expect clear skies with the exception of occasional upper level clouds. Overall, however, it will be very sunny which will provide even less relief from the heat.

Monday

By Monday, the high pressure that has been keeping us quiet for more than the past week, will still be directly overhead. This will result in another quiet and calm day.

In terms of temperatures, would I surprise you if I said it was supposed to be hot? No? I didn’t think so. Jokes aside, expect more muggy highs in the upper 80s.

Skies will be relatively clear once again, so some more isolated spots of 90 degrees will be possible again.

Winds will also be rather calm again with some winds picking up to the west of WABBLES, but not so much for us. Some occasional brief gusts of 5-10 mph will be possible, however.

All in all, Today and Monday are going to be virtually carbon copies of each other.

Mid Next Week

Moving into the more medium range forecast, we finally get some rain chances. That high pressure that has been like having a heat lamp over us the past week, will finally start to weaken and move off to the west.

This will allow the activity that the central US has been getting for the past week to start to move into our area. You can see that in the map above with rain chances staging off to the west of WABBLES.

Moving to Wednesday is when the real rain chances start to come into play. The activity that was off to the west will eventually make its way over WABBLES resulting in some long awaited rain.

That will be all for this blog post! I hope you all have another great day out there. If you go outside today, remember plenty of sunscreen and water! I encourage you all to visit our social media accounts linked below.
