Happy Wednesday, everybody! So far this week, we have had our fair share of unperturbed sunshine. This, unfortunately, will come to an end as we approach the end of the work week with chances of precipitation making a comeback.
Cloud Cover on the Rise
Today, clouds will slowly but surely begin to move into our region. Don’t be fooled, as we will remain dry. However, this is only an indicator of what’s to come for the remainder of the week.
As clouds roll in, winds will pick up. We may have gusts reach near 30 miles per hour in the afternoon. If you commute to work, make sure you drive with caution both on your way to and on your way back from your shift.
Not only will cloud cover and wind gusts be on the rise, but so will temperatures. Our high for the day will exceed the 70 degree mark and our night will consist of temperatures in the lower 60’s. A great night for a campfire!
Rain on the Horizon
Tomorrow, the chances of precipitation won’t come into play until the evening. These will stick around into the weekend, with the heaviest rains taking place Friday night. As of now, total accumulations for the rest of the week are anticipated to be 1 to 2 inches.
We will have the threat for gusty winds carry on into tomorrow, too. Throughout the day, there will be a breeze ranging from 10-15 miles per hour. However, gusts may reach 25 miles per hour in the afternoon.
