The Sunniest Day of the Week Has Arrived

Greetings to those within the WABBLES community! If you’re like me and have been longing for sunshine, even in the wintertime, you’re going to love what’s in store for today. In short, expect a sunny day consisting of gentle winds and crisp temperatures.

Sunny, but Cold, Today

Today, we will see the continuation of the presence of high pressure throughout our region. However, there will be even less cloud cover in comparison to yesterday. Are sunglasses a possibility? Yes, yes they are.

This morning, you may want to start up the car ahead of when you plan on leaving for work, as temperatures will linger below freezing. We might not warm up much, possibly only to the 40 degree mark. By night, we will be back in the lower 20’s.

Clouds, and Shower Chances, Return Tomorrow

Tomorrow, a couplet of low pressure systems look to stir up a brief disturbance for our area. Much to our dismay, this means the return of cloudy skies. On the bright side, this will be the cloudiest day for the rest of the week!

In addition to this, we will also have the chance for scattered showers in the morning that will turn widespread by the evening. These are likely to remain consistent until the early hours of Friday. As of now, predicted precipitation totals range from 0.3 to 0.6 inches throughout WABBLES.

Our main concern with this will be the likelihood of high winds ahead of the cold front. In the afternoon, winds may gust up to 20 miles per hour, and in the evening, as high as 30 miles per hour. We will keep you updated, but please remain cautious for the time being.
