Quiet Conditions Highlight this Week

Welcome to Monday, everyone! Thanks for checking out the blog today. I hope you enjoyed your weekend! We haven’t seen much action around here lately, and that looks to continue as quiet conditions highlight this week.

The weather has been very quiet here recently…I wonder what it has up it’s sleeve. (Tenor)

More Clouds for Today, but Dry

We have a low pressure system nearby that won’t be brining any precipitation our way, but nearby clouds will trail into our region. We can expect partly to mostly cloudy skies today, but a few peaks of sunshine are possible too.

Clouds will dominate most of the day, but peaks of sunshine could also make their way through. (Pivotal Weather)

Colder air will also be making its way into the area as well with highs on the colder side of what we’ve seen so far this season. Highs will only reach the low 40’s, so make sure to dress warm if you’re going out!

Those cool temperatures look to stick around into the overnight hours as lows drop into the mid 20’s. If you think that’s cold, the record low for December 7th is 7°, set back in 1977!

Sunshine Makes a Comeback

Once that low pressure finally moves out Monday night, we can get back to more sunshine! High pressure looks to take over most of the country in fact, which will keep things quiet for the coming days.

Tuesday will feature mostly sunny skies as temperatures look to warm slightly into the mid 40’s. Normal temperatures for this time of year sit at around 50°, so we won’t be too far from average.

Temperatures will start a warming trend on Tuesday after a chilly day on Monday. Highs look to reach near 60° by midweek! (Pivotal Weather)

Wednesday will see more sunny skies and some significant warming, with highs jumping into the mid 50’s! Definitely a beautiful day if I do say so myself. More beautiful weather is in store for Thursday, with sunny skies and highs near 60°.
