Fire Weather Watch Amidst Windy Conditions Today

After starting off at a crisp, cool 37-39 degrees or so, things warm rather quickly. Sunny skies, with nary a cloud in the sky, will dominate overhead today. Temperatures will top out in the middle 60s area-wide in the afternoon hours.

A fire weather hazard of sorts will also be present today as gusty winds overspread the area. Southwesterly winds of 15-20 miles per hour (with gusts as high as 35mph) combined with dry conditions will lead to conditions favorable for fires. Avoid outdoor burning and stay cognoscente to your surroundings, and all should be well!

Calmer Friday

After a breezy Thursday, winds will die off in time for the end of the workweek. Temperatures Friday morning will also be slightly milder, with temperatures across the area generally in the low-to-mid 40s. Skies will be sunny, with only a few passing clouds. Afternoon highs should top around 65-degrees or so.

Sunny Saturday!

Saturday, like the previous day, will be quite quiet! The weekend will start off almost identical to Friday, with lows in the middle 40s. That same trend will persist into the afternoon as well, with clear skies, lots of sunshine, and afternoon highs in the mid-60s as well. Sounds a lot like Friday, right?!

Dry to Start, Showers to End… (SUN)

After a relatively dry stretch over the last several days, things change late in the day on Sunday. Things remain dry early on however, as clouds increase. Lows in the morning will be quite mild for this time of year, with temperatures in the upper 40s. Highs in the afternoon will end up somewhere in the mid-to-upper 60s, with the chance of showers (around 30%) late in the day.
