Good Monday morning, everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. Winds have finally calmed down after a breezy day yesterday, which will help things settle down this week. We can expect sunny, but cool, weather for this week.
Much Calmer Conditions Today
According to the Kentucky Mesonet, the Bowling Green station received a maximum wind gust yesterday of 39 mph! Those gusty winds brought some cooler air with them, so we will see some below average temperatures early this week.
Today we can expect highs around 60°, but with plentiful sunshine. Winds will be much calmer as well, at around 5 mph. Should make for a beautiful fall day!
Temperatures cool much more overnight, as lows drop to the upper 30’s! On the bright side, conditions will remain clear.
Cooler than Average Temps Early On
Temperatures look to be even cooler starting on Tuesday as we see below average temps filter in thanks to a dry cold front passing through. Highs Tuesday will remain solidly in the mid 50’s. Because it is a dry cold front, skies will remain clear and sunny!
Cooler temperatures follow us into Wednesday with highs only reaching the low to mid 50’s. While that’s only about 5° below average, that’s still pretty cool! Sunny weather also sticks around, which helps make the cool temps a little more bearable.
