Saturday’s daytime hours remain dry…

After starting the day at a crisp, cool 33-degrees, temperatures will quickly climb out of the 30s, and by the afternoon, high temperatures will surge as high as the middle 60s ahead of the approaching front late this evening. Rain chances are minimal throughout the daytime hours, as partly sunny skies reign overhead, and things remain dry.

The Frontal Passage Overnight (Sat.)

As the sun sets Saturday evening, cloud-cover will begin to build. Temperatures will remain mild into the evening (even after sunset) as the front approaches from the west. Winds will initially be from the south, and gradually pick up in intensity throughout the evening. As of now, it appears that the greatest chance for rain will be after midnight, as the front bisects the area very early Sunday morning. Winds could gust as high as 40 miles per hour as the front passes.

Along with the gusty winds, the chance for rain, perhaps heavy at times will persist as the front passes. A rumble of thunder cannot be ruled out as well. Rainfall totals should generally be one-half-inch or less, though, as the front will be fairly quick to exist. Temperatures will gradually drop in the early morning hours Sunday after the cold front had passed to the east of W.A.B.B.L.E.S.

Sunshine Re-appears for Sunday!

As we awaken on our Sunday, the slim chance of a passing shower or two will be possible, especially early in the morning. Lows will be in the middle 50s, but only manage to rise a few degrees throughout the day. By the afternoon, highs in most locations won’t have managed to even get out of the upper 50s, but at least things will be dry! Cloud-cover will decrease as the day goes on, and sunny skies should dominate overhead by days end.
