Sunny and Dry Weather for the Start of November

Welcome to Sunday and the first day of November, y’all! I hope everyone had a spooky and safe Halloween. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and even caught a surprise fireball on our Nolin Lake Dam Cam! After a wet end to October, we’ll have sunny and dry weather for the start of November.

Check out this fireball we caught last night on our Nolin Lake Dam Cam!

Conditions Get Breezy Today

Is anyone as shocked as I am that we’re already into November? This year has flown by it seems like. As we kick off month 11 of 12, we can expect plentiful sunshine accompanied by some pretty chilly temperatures! Highs will only reach the mid 50’s today before cooling into the upper 40’s.

A dry cold front will also be passing overhead today, which will bring some windy conditions later in the day. Winds could gust as high as 32 mph, so secure any loose outdoor items! Those winds could also make our temperatures feel much colder than they are, so bundle up if you’re going out!

That cold front will also bring some downright COLD temperatures for the overnight hours. Starting at 10 PM, we will be under a Freeze Warning for lows potentially reaching the upper 20’s! Any vegetation left outside could get zapped by frost, so bring them in if you can!

Gradual Warming This Week

As we start the new work week, we will see no shortage of sunshine! A high pressure takes over that will dominate most of the country in fact, and will keep us dry for the time being.

Highs on Monday, however, don’t look to improve too much in the low 50’s. Starting on Tuesday, temperatures start a warming trend that will bring our temps much closer to average, which is around 66°. Nice fall conditions are on the way!

That finishes today’s forecast. Thanks for reading! Follow our live weather feed @wxornotBG, as well as on Facebook, for all your weather updates. Enjoy your Sunday!
