Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you’ve had an enjoyable weekend so far. I know what you’re thinking: is “mizzly” even a word? Fun fact, it is! Mizzle is another word for “light rain,” and we’ll definitely see that this week. We’ll start with a sunny Sunday, then a mizzly Monday.
The Last of Warm Weather?
We’re about a week into fall now, and the weather surprised us with some summer-like temps. We’ll have one more day of highs in the low 80’s before we may lose the 80 degree temps for good!
The Bowling Green area will also see more sunshine today with a mix of clouds. Regardless, it’ll be a beautiful way to end the weekend! Lows will drop into the low 60’s overnight ahead of the big change on Monday.
Rain Returns Monday
Not only will cooler weather be coming our way, but wet weather will as well. The cold front will pull some rain through the area during the early afternoon hours bringing about a half inch of rain with it.
We could also see some gusty winds as the front moves through with speeds upwards of about 20 mph. Highs will be cooler as well in the low 70’s. The rain looks to move out by Tuesday, but will leave us with some extra clouds. Highs also look to cool off even more into the mid 60’s. Fall is here!
