After a wonderful stretch of pleasant weather, chances for storms begin to reappear in our sights as we head into the weekend. Temperatures stay warm and muggy as well when showers and storms aren’t present.
Sunny Today
After we wake up to areas of fog, and temperatures hovering in the upper 60s, temperatures will rise rapidly through the 70s, and into the 80s. Fog this morning will give way to an abundance of sunshine, as highs top out around 87-88 degrees area-wide.
A Beautiful Friday
As we end the workweek, we will end things on a high note, with another wonderful day of pleasant weather ahead for Friday. Temperatures starting out in the upper 60s to low 70s will give way to afternoon highs in the middle 80s, with mostly sunny skies, and few clouds patching the sky above. Overall, Friday looks like a winner!
Storm Chances Saturday Afternoon
As we begin the upcoming weekend, an uptick in shower and storm chances move in, at least during the afternoon hours on Saturday. Temperatures will start in the upper 60s, and climb quickly to a warm (but muggy) afternoon high in the upper 80s.
As stated above, afternoon pop-ups will be possible Saturday afternoon. While Saturday is definitely not a ‘washout’, you will need to keep a vigilant eye to the sky if you have outdoor plans Saturday.
Storm Chances Continue for Sunday
The back-half of the weekend looks to be a near-repeat of Saturday, with persisting shower and storm chances, especially in the afternoon. Temperatures to start the day will begin around 70 degrees or so, and once again climb into the middle 80s in the afternoon.
NOTE: Sunday will likely feature increased coverage oh showers and storms when compared to Saturday.
