Good Monday morning, folks! Welcome to a new week. Can you believe we’re already halfway through August? Before we know it, it’ll be fall! Speaking of fall, another midsummer cooldown is here to give us a break from summer temperatures.
A Beautiful Day Today
The short and sweet forecast for today is that it will be beautiful, especially for summer! Plentiful sunshine will dominate today as dew points become more comfortable as well. High temperatures will reach typical summer levels in the upper 80’s, however.
This is because of a high pressure that is sitting to our west. Because of its clockwise rotation, it’s pulling cooler and drier Canadian air from the north and moving it into our area. This will cool things off more in the coming days.
Speaking of cool, tonight’s lows will dip into the mid 60’s, quite the change from the daytime high.
Pleasant Temperatures Arrive
If you enjoyed Monday’s weather, you’re really going to enjoy Tuesday and Wednesday’s weather!
Tuesday we’ll see a low pressure briefly and quickly pass us by, which means there will be a small chance some of us will see a shower or two. The chances aren’t very high, though. Otherwise, skies will be partly cloudy.
Temperatures will also be slightly cooler in the mid 80’s. Dew points remain in the upper 60’s, so it won’t feel super muggy either. The sunshine quickly returns by the time Wednesday rolls around.
Even with the sunshine, temperatures Wednesday remain below average in the low 80’s. Along with dry dew points, Wednesday will definitely be the day to get outside!
That Didn’t Last Long…
Of course, this beautiful weather won’t last too long. It is still summer! By the end of the week, temperatures look to rebound back towards average in the upper 80’s, with the next chance of showers coming on Friday.
That finishes today’s forecast. Thanks for reading! Follow our live weather feed @wxornotBG, as well as on Facebook, for all your weather updates. Have a great start to your week!
