The Start of a Dry, Comfortable Trend

A Beautiful Day Ahead

Today, a high pressure system will be moving into the eastern region of the country, bringing us a simple, yet beautiful forecast for the rest of the week. That means mostly sunny conditions with little to no chances of any active weather patterns. Now is the perfect time to plan outdoor activities!

In comparison to yesterday, temperatures will be somewhat higher, but not to where it’s that noticeable. Our highest temperature for the day will be in the lower 80’s, as will our heat index. With a rather dry air mass stationed over our area, that uncomfortable humidity will be set on the back burner for today for most of our area.

Now those are the dew points that we know and love! (HRRR, Pivotal Weather)

Tonight, the humidity will pick back up, but only enough for it to feel present. But if you planned to roast some marshmallows or stargaze, don’t worry, because it’ll still be an enjoyable night. We will have clear conditions as well as temperatures dropping to the mid-60’s.

What a clear evening we will have! This is predicted cloud coverage from 5-10pm.

Friendly Reminders for this Week

If you do plan on spending time outdoors today, this section is for you! Our team always wants for you to stay happy and healthy and with days like these, it’s important to point out some of the conditions we will have in store for us. With a beautiful summer day comes some minor threats.

For the rest of the week, we will see the UV index remain at the very high value of 9. Remember to wear sunglasses, light-fitted clothing, sunblock (if necessary), and to stay hydrated. You know the drill!

(Environmental Protection Agency)

In addition to this, the air quality is predicted to stay good, too. Meaning, the amount of pollutants present in our air will not pose any threats to the health of anyone.

Below shows the current state of the county. As you can see, most of which is green, indicating good air quality. Those specks of yellow indicate moderate air quality conditions.

That’s all for today! Thank you for reading. We hope you make it a great one. If you’d like to see more of our content, follow us on our other platforms (Twitter / Facebook / Instagram).

  1. Why has the daily forecast in the paper been curtailed leaving out such specifics as sunrise and sunset?
