A wet Saturday…

After several days of showers and storms around the Commonwealth, the story continues, at least for one more day. Showers and storms are likely throughout the day today as an area of low pressure bisects W.A.B.B.L.E.S.

** A stray strong to severe storm cannot be ruled out, a MARGINAL risk is in place for our eastern-most counties. **

Temperatures will climb out of the lower 70s, but will only make it to around 83 this afternoon. Areas receiving rainfall during the afternoon hours may not even get out of the 70s. Hey, at least with all this wet weather comes with some relief from the heat!

A drier Sunday…

After numerous showers and storms today, Sunday does appear to be slightly drier. Isolated showers and storms with about 20% coverage will be possible, primarily in the afternoon. Temperatures remain fairly pleasant for this time of year, only reaching the lower 80s across south-central Kentucky.

More of the same Monday…

As the weekend comes to a close, and the workweek begins, things look fairly similar to Sunday. Scattered showers and storms will again be possible, but in limited coverage. Temperatures will also be seasonably mild, topping out in the low (north) to middle (south) 80s area-wide.
