Temperatures on the Rise Today

The big difference we are going to see today is the rise in humidity. Dewpoints across the area will be approaching the mid 60s today which makes it feel much more uncomfortable.

Like yesterday, a few pop-up showers and storms will be possible this afternoon. The best chance will be for those along and east of I-65.

We top out at 86 degrees this afternoon before reaching a low of 65 degrees later tonight.

Fathers Day Weekend Outlook

Temperatures will be really steaming as we head into the weekend. Sunday and Saturday will feature temperatures into the 90s with oppressive humidity. Spotty storm chances will be possible, but look to stay minimal as we look to be between systems.

When we approach Sunday we will see another uptick in storm chances. A cold front from the west will be approaching the area and will bring an increase in rain chances. Fathers Day will not be a washout by any means, but you may be dodging a few scattered storms.

Severe weather does not seem to be a problem in the near future, just classic summertime thunderstorms.
